Blonds are thought to have more fun because blond hair reflects light and causes a radiant glow around the individual. Rather you were born with blond hair or not, you can still achieve the same results by adding blond highlights to your hair. Summer will be here before we know it and now is the time to start thinking about what look you are going to wear.

I am so loving the True Cosmetics Skin Tint and loose powder. This product gives deep complexions a sexy, dewey, glow without making your skin look grey. It is so frustrating to try and find a foundation or powder that matches deep complexions. They either make you look to grey, or they are to dark and make you look dirty. I have gotten so many compliments since I started using the True Skin Tint in “Deep”. Your skin looks healthy, hydrated, and absolutely beautiful! I think I am hooked for like! Next time you are at the mall pick up a bottle of Aveda Rosemary mint shampoo and conditioner. These products are wonderful for the client that wears Hair Extensions. Wash the hair with the shampoo then apply the conditioner and let it sit(preferably under a hood dryer with a plastic bag on your head) for about 15 minutes. You will feel the wonderful tingle and your hair will get squeaky clean. No more worries about whether or not your hair stinks because you are wearing a weave! Follow up with a hydrating conditioner(Pantene will work fine) so you can give extra hydration to the hair.
For all of you ladies wearing a full head weave, please, please, please purchase a hood dryer so you can properly get ALL of your hair dry after washing. This is important so your hair does not get a mildew smell on the braids! This can happen if you leave the hair wet for too long. This is damaging to the hair and not very sanitary!

There is a variety of hair care products on the market that work well with all types of hair. Some of my favorites are as follows:
Aveda Brilliance line. The emollient sheen is wonderful and you need a very small amount.
Kiehls Creme with Silk is particularly nice for African American hair or more coarse textures. It gives a nice amount of moisture without making your hair greasy.
Elon Matrix hair vitamins takes care of your hair form the inside out. You can purchase them on Amazon.com.
